Prithvi is a small silhouette animation showing Earth's journey from Jurassic era to Modern age and the effect that growing human population had on Earth. Interestingly at the time of conception the animation was not meant to be a standalone video. It was designed to be part of an intriguing installation that would show the same thing that the animation is showing but with a slight difference. Unlike the video above, the viewer would also be able to interact with the installation. Viewer's interaction with the installation drives the animation forward. While interacting the viewer is also able to relate his actions with the visuals shown in the animation.
